Pet-Ink is a new voice for your pet. Pet-Ink is a semi-permanent tattoo that you can apply on your pet’s fur. The coloring is a semi-permanent dye that you color your pet’s fur with in the design that you choose.
Of coarse, once you get your kit, please read all of the information that comes with it before you get started. Then, apply the sticker stencil to your pet’s fur. Once that is applied, put on your gloves and open your dye. With the applicator, apply the dye over the stencil carefully and slowly. Use small amounts of dye at a time to help avoid smudges. Apply the dye to the outer layer of fur only. Do not push the dye down to the skin. Wait a few minutes then blot the dye. If it is too light, apply some more dye and wait a few more minutes. Once the color is nice and bright, remove the stencil and let dye dry. Once the dye is dry you will know it has set.
A Pet-Ink tattoo will usually last about 2-4 weeks depending on your pet. If you bath you pet everyday it will not last as long as if you only bath your pet every once in a while.
If the dye smudges wash it off immediately. For the dye to really take hold it will take a little bit of time. So if you wash off mistakes right away they will be gone.
If you decide right away that you do not like it, simply wash it off. But once the dye is set, it will be really hard to remove. You can get it to fade faster by washing the area several times, but it will probably have to wear off to be gone completely.
Some sensitive animals could react to the dye. We suggest that you do a small test spot before applying a whole tattoo. The test spot should be about the size of a dime and should be done on the inner thigh or a spot where you can see the skin to see if it turns red. If you see any redness, wash the area immediately. If symptoms persist, contact your vet. You should wait 72 hours after applying the test spot to make sure your pet will be ok with the dye. If you have a pet with very sensitive skin, you should talk to your vet before trying this product.
